Campervan Brewery Popup stall – lineup revealed!

This week sees Riddle-Me-Rye’s first pop-up stall taking place at Campervan Brewery (112 Jane Street, Leith) on Saturday 24th Feb from 2pm. We have a full array of goodies on offer including a couple of specials using some of Campervan Brewery’s fantastic beers! Read on for details…

Please note that customers are still welcome to place pre-orders if they wish to reserve any items, however, there will be no delivery service this week and collections are from Campervan Brewery taproom only.

The sourdough:

1/ Barley Grain & Ale Sourdough made with Campervan’s Leith Juice! We have given this customer favourite a makeover and will be using Leith Juice in the dough to celebrate our collaboration with Campervan Brewery! Get it while it lasts! (medium loaf £3)

2/ Riddler “House Sourdough” – Our signature loaf – made with 80% white wheat flour,  10% wholewheat and 10% whole rye. The wholewheat and rye contribute heaps of flavour and this classic sourdough works really well for all occasions! (medium loaf £2.50)

3/ Olive & Rosemary sourdough – classic flavour combination, with a mixture of green & kalamata olives, pumpkin seeds and rosemary (medium loaf £3)

4/ Tourte au Seigle – A traditional French sourdough loaf containing 73% dark rye flour, it has a beautifully complex flavour which continues to develop as the loaf ages. It keeps exceptionally well (large loaf £3.50)

5/ 100% Dark Rye sourdough – this tin loaf is made with pure wholemeal rye and is hard to beat for flavour, digestibility and nutritional content. This type of bread is popular in continental Europe but also catching on here for people who for cannot tolerate wheat (medium loaf £3)

6/ Sourdough Bialys – These delicious chewy savouries are great with beer!

They were originally made by Jewish bakers in Bialystok, Poland. On the day we will have a few different varieties, with cheese & onion, poppyseed, and sesame seed sure to feature (£3 each)
